Light wood tones and stacked stone elements accentuate Tanner Health System's public persona of superior service and attention to the patient and visitor alike. Taking a que from the exterior design of the hospital, the design team brought the stacked stone inside the two-story atrium. Guests are greeted with a warm interior space with earth tones which are intended to provide a soothing environment.
Nurses stations on each floor were designed to accommodate a busy staff through their centralized floor location. Crisp white stone serves to wrap desk corners, providing a certain depth of texture and interest. Recognizing the amount of traffic that constantly interacts with the desk, the front is surfaced in a porcelain tile in a wood pattern.
