Northside Hospital | Gwinnett Infusion Center

At Northside Hospital's Gwinnett location, this recent project consisted of relocating the infusion suite from the main building to the 1100 Medical Office Building, 3rd floor. The 10,000 sf renovation construction project was to be built in conjunction with the 3rd floor surgery build out on the same campus. Partnering with HRD Architects and McCarthy Building Companies, the demolition of the existing infusion had to run simultaneously in order to start the construction of the PACU.

The relocation design provides 19 total infusion bays, an expanded pharmacy work area, a new diabetes class room/work area, as well as a generous waiting area/registration area for patients and staff.

The goal was to make the space feel modern yet soft, so a brighter palette was utilized. The introduction of textured metal accents and gray tones incorporate a modern touch to the space while the wood tones in the flooring and the blue accents in the furniture and walls still provides warmth and comfort for patients.
